What's New: From Hinkley Lighting

Here at Lewis Lighting and Home we would like to start a new series to help introduce you to the available home goods from great brands out there.  Look for the "What's New" tag in the post title to see new introductions and to learn more about the home goods Lewis Lighting and Home has to offer.  Fabulous.

To start off "What's New", our first segment is on: what's new at Hinkley Lighting.  With 90 years experience in fixture manufacturing, Hinkley has become a trend setter in the industry growing from a traditional lighting company into a leader in style.  This past season Hinkley was a driving force in introducing new finishes to the market such as Brushed Bronze and Brushed Carmel (that are contemporary takes on brass) and re-introducing Chrome.  Smart in design, current in style, and eco-forward, here some great pieces from Hinkley.

What We're Listening To: Haim - Forever

Who would have ever thought of mixing folk and R&B?  Haim.  Comprised of three sisters, the group Haim does just that.  Their mother was a contestant on The Gong Show and their dad brought them up on a strict diet of The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac.  I love their sound - do I hear the hint of a Kate Bush yell in the background of this song?  Check them out, here is Haim and "Forever."

One of the best things about market is seeing all the new introductions.  Browsing through all of the showrooms and booths is so much fun.  You could spend a week browsing and still not see it all.  The most important thing in my suitcase is a pair of comfy shoes and a pair of inserts to boot because after a full day of walking countless miles my dogs start barking.  Here are more photos of what we saw at the June Dallas Market.
