Simple DIY Basket Pendant Light

Add character with a piece of vintage hardware.  Decorate the entry way or hall with a vintage pendant.  Creating a vintage style light pendant is easy with some simple DIY tips.  Start with container (the container featured is an old egg basket) and pendant kit (which can be found at most lighting and/or hardware stores).  Take your pendant kit and pull the wires from the canopy piece.  Then run the wires back through your container (this egg basket is nice because it already has a hole) and through the pendant canopy.  Add a old fashioned Edison style light bulb to complete the vintage light look.  This would be great in a kitchen or even in a laundry room or pantry.

The Zelda’s striking mid-century silhouette features four spheres that increase in size as they descend from the top loop, creating an elegant seamless center column. The sleek rectangular bowed arms support tapered etched glass shades perched on a hemisphere cup, adding vintage appeal.  Contact us to order.
