Valentino shows Couture Collection in Paris.  The collection of brocade and architectural pierces are beautiful.  The sheer brocade looks like iron work while the solid brocade looks like wedding cake.  The architectural details look effortless and the collection has iconic silhouettes.  Love.

Diane von Furstenberg: New York Fashion Week

Well the word is, feminine style is back!  Edgy style and power fashion is taking a break for frilly feminine chic.  Some New York Fashion Week designers must of missed the memo, but not Diane von Furstenberg's 2013 Ready to Wear collection.  It's chic, it's  feminine, it's beautiful with billowing frilly patterns in the current hot "it" colors tangerine, lime, and turquoise.  Love the mirrored lips that decorate the runway.  Diane also partnered with Google by showcasing Google's prototype Project Glass headgear.  The new technology's aim is to get technology out of the way by placing in it in your field of site.  Digest that for a second.  Check out Diane's show high lights and then check out Google's Project Glass short concept video.
