Ultra Modern Capri Suite, Italy



Built in what used to be St. Micheles’ convent from the XVII century,  Capri Suite is an ultra modern two-room inn with hotel services in beautiful Anacapri located on the island of Capri in Italy.  ZETASTUDIO Architects designed the modern suite with distinct modern Italian flare.  Loving the juxtaposition of the modern furniture against the ancient walls and arches.  Must put this on the list.  "Oh room service, per favore."

Visit The Colorful Saguaro Hotel - Palm Springs


The newly opened Palm Springs Saguaro Hotel is an oasis in the desert.  The hip hotel is a mixture of retro motel and contemporary style interiors.  The bold color palette, with vibrant colors inspired by the native flowers of the Colorado Desert, looks as if it was pulled directly from the Pantone Spring Colors for 2012.  These invigorating colors would definitely make for an enjoyable stay.

Who's up for playing tennis 1000 feet in the air?  You can at the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai which is the home of world’s highest tennis court.  The Burj Al Arab is also the worlds only 7 star hotel - so, when I knock the ball out of the court - will room service go and retrieve it for me?

Graffiti Hotel


Graffiti, as an art form, walks a fine line between art and intrusion. The Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, France gave Graffiti artist Tili the opportunity to intrude and walk that fine line literally by splitting a room exactly in half with his art.  Check it out.

Francis Ford Coppola's Hotel


Francis Ford Coppola opens his fifth hotel in his hometown of Bernalda, Italy.  He recruited French interior designer Jacques Grange along with the help of his children Roman and Sophia who contributed to the style of their personal rooms. The result is a lavish Italian vista with the air of summer.
