Decorating Tip: When using a white color scheme - it is all about the details. With a lack of color, the eye will be drawn to texture and any contrast. Make it count. Make the pieces important. Think of icicles, or branches, in winter snow. Look for distinctive pieces - uniquely lined furniture and frames (the branches) and crystal (the icicles). Think about the feel and finish of fabrics for each room. Texture will be very important to the overall feel of a room and will dictate formality or casual style.
