The MDNA Tour wardrobe was overseen by long-time stylist and two-time Oscar nominated costume designer Arianne Phillips. Tony Villanueva, the head dresser for Madonna’s MDNA tour, gives us a backstage look as he discusses the logistics of putting together a show with eight costume changes for Madge, 10-15 changes per the dancers, and featuring over 700 separate pieces of clothing covered with 315,000 Swarovski crystals.
