Here is a magical and simple DIY project using mason jars. All you will need is: mason jars, small paint brushes, and glow paint (available at the hobby store or here).
To create magical jar:
Put small dots of glow paint inside the mason
jar.
Mix and vary the color of dots if you choose.
Let dry ... and at
night you will have a jar full of magic. Enjoy.

Glow in the dark paint is rechargeable. The glowing effect will last an hour or two. Leave in the sun or under a lamp and for a hour or so to recharge and enjoy. Happy Crafting.
