Gereration Gap

German artist and photographer Frauke Theilking's project "Generation" is a window in time.  At first glance, it seems you are looking at the same person.  Theilking paired parent and child together in these photos with stark surroundings focusing the viewer's attention on the generation gap.


Many of us want to separate ourselves from our parents but Theilking's images remind us that our parents were once young too with these photos both looking into the past and into the future.
