Let the media storm begin, with mobile apps, magazine covers, and numerous promotional engagements, Lady Gaga releases her first single "Applause" August 19, 2013, from her upcoming album ArtPop which will be released November 11, 2013. The video is visually entertaining and the sound of the single is reminiscent of 80's pop music combined with an 8 bit theme.
