Trend Spotting: Steampunk Interior Decorating

Stay with me.  If you are not aware of the term "steampunk," Steampunk is a genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery, especially in a setting inspired by industrialized Western civilization of the 19th century.  Think H.G. Wells The Time Machine or Jules Verne 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, think Victorian, think Industrial Revolution, think steam engines.  Now, this genre of science fiction has translated into a full fledged form of style.  From fashion to interior decorating this genre of style has become very main stream.  The interiors featured maybe over the top but towards the end of this post you may be surprised that you too are fan of steampunk.
