When Zac showed me this yesterday I about fell out of my seat. On November 11, 2012, Max Galuppo, 20, of Bloomsbury, NJ, found his doppelganger (or long lost body double) at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The painting behind him, “Portrait of a Nobleman with Duelling Gauntlet” (1562) by an anonymous artist, has an uncanny resemblance to Galuppo. When asked if he saw the resemblance, Galuppo told ABC News, “To be honest, I didn’t see it. I didn’t see the resemblance. And then I saw the picture of me next to it, and you can’t deny that.” Amazingly, Galuppo says the painting is from the same region of Italy where his grandparents are from. Could this be a long lost ancestor? via ABC News
