For Stephen King fans, yes King is writing a sequel to The Shining. The novel is King's return to the horror genre. This time around the plot focuses Danny (the boy protagonist), who is now grown yet still running from "The Shining." The new novel Dr. Sleep is set to publish September 2013! So exciting!
Side note: "Studios" are in the works of filming a prequel of Stanley Kubrick's classic film The Shining. Not so exciting.
