Singapore held a contest in 2006 for designers and engineers to come up with a vision for the "most incredible public garden in the world." Simple. Out of the entries, Grant Associates took the prize and were commissioned to over see this massive public project. The amazing Gardens By The Bay opened in June of 2012. The public conservatory houses species of plant life from every continent (except Antarctica), the largest indoor man made waterfall, and maybe most impressive - Super Trees.
