Similar to Lena Dunham's acclaimed movie "Tiny Furniture," Dunham's new HBO show produced by Judd Apatow simply titled "Girls" is a quirky 30 minute sitcom about four young ladies fresh from college trying to find their way. Acknowledging their "Sex and the City" predecessors, this show seems to be, while girlish, a more natural cast of characters - say if Woody Allen met Felicity. Dunham has recast several of the actors from the movie to play roles on the sitcom. Having loved the movie "Tiny Furniture" (which is available on Netflix), hopefully this young, quirky, new show is widely embraced. The cast recently sat with Vogue magazine to talk about working together.
