This is one of my favorite songs by Cyndi Lauper and one her worst videos. Listen and watch Miss Cyndi - as she thinks about pouring a cup of tea and paces the floor in a room fit for Hoarders - yet, you can understand why she wants to stay cooped up in this hell hole - she probably is upset that the hair stylist told her it was going to be California Blonde and ended up Sponge Bob Yellow. Oh well, she more than makes up for it (and, I actually love her hair) with her awesome vibrato and this fabulous song. Here's Cyndi Lauper with "I'm Gonna Be Strong." (insert pun here) Enjoy.
